Position Summary:

SiriusXM is looking for an intern to join the consumer insights and research department. This department conducts market research to understand customer behavior and trends, identify opportunities and inform go-to-market strategies, and assess the competitor landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to develop market research objectives and KPIs.

  • Design and program surveys that aim to understand current and prospect customer behavior.

  • Collect, analyze and present results on consumer research surveys.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Support managing weekly campaign sprints and executing project timelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or MBA in marketing or a related field.

  • Psychology/statistics degree or research experience preferred.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be enrolled as a student in a U.S. based college, university or trade school at the time of applying and interning. Students who have completed at least two years of college are preferred.

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Demonstrate passion for the customer and servicing customer needs.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.

  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.

  • Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

  • Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
