Location: New York, NY or Washington, D.C.

Position Summary:

SiriusXM is seeing a high performance, results driven project leader with 5+ years of project management experience including managing strategic initiatives across a matrixed organization. The position requires an individual to manage initiatives working alongside the business supporting requirement definition, IT to ensure the build supports the business ask through testing, launch and results reporting. This person will work closely with various technical and non-technical team members; managing and running complex and strategic technical projects and marketing initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather and develop detailed business requirements that effectively translate business problems into innovative and practical solutions.

  • Support project lifecycle from conceptualization, development, testing, through to launch.

  • Establish, maintain, and drive schedules for successful, on-time delivery of new projects.

  • Develop process flows, use cases; and perform user acceptance testing including planning and testing with third parties on software releases.

  • Collaborate across business groups and IT organization to ensure that the working team and key stakeholders are kept informed of project status and all business/functional gaps are assessed, clearly communicated, and properly escalated for appropriate resolution.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.

  • 5-6 years (for manager) and 7+ years (for senior manager) experience working on cross functional initiatives, including segmentation, with the goal of improving the customers experience within an organization.

  • Worked in a matrixed organization supporting change.

  • Proven proficiency in successfully implementing projects and/or technology changes in a complex environment.

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Must have proven program management skills, clear verbal and written communication abilities, strong attention to detail, be a self-starter and independent worker.

  • Excellent project management skills allowing for goals to be met on time and documented thoroughly.

  • Energetic and positive attitude, with an ability to remain solution focused under pressure.

  • Experience working with IT and business process development including all phases of requirements definition, testing, change management, and release management.

  • Highly analytical mindset must have ability to understand the business needs and convert the business needs into system requirements that achieve the end goals-strong problem solving skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present technical solutions and project roadmap in clear business-friendly language that is relevant to key stakeholders.

  • Be the voice and advocate for the customer.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Billing software.

  • Knowledge 360 views of the customer data.

  • Highly analytical/process mindset must have ability to understand the business needs and convert the business needs to business processes and system requirements.

  • Knowledge of Jira and other PM tools a plus.
