Under general supervision, this position provides multiple levels of event coordination, maintenance, technical and operational support of our systems as they pertain to remote broadcasts and productions. Candidate will support a combination of on-site and off-site facilities, remote broadcast events, various methods of transmission and hosts delivering broadcasts from various locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, consult and technical plan for remote broadcast events.
Technical Production management of personnel and broadcast systems for various events.
Assist in creating requirements and managing contracts for support vendors.
Perform preventive technical maintenance on remote equipment and systems.
Research and procure parts and supplies needed for remote event support.
Prepare, ship and receive equipment for remote events or hosts.
Provide operator level support to various broadcast systems.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this job.
Associate's degree or higher in Electronics, Broadcast Technology or related course of study, or equivalent, relevant experience.
At least 3 years of experience in field production, maintaining and installing broadcast systems.
Requirements and General Skills:
Must be able to work steady shift in a high pressure environment.

Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to lift 50 pound equipment cases and transport them over uneven ground.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Experience with broadcast tools and equipment: meters, scopes, analyzers used to troubleshoot audio equipment.
Ability to design, configure, setup and run complex audio broadcast set ups including intercoms systems, talent/guest monitoring, and multi-track audio recordings.
Experience with computer networks and device network configuration as it pertains to broadcast equipment or audio streaming.
Ability to configure and operate IP and ISDN audio codecs for transmission.
Familiarity with IP and voice/data phone circuits, extension and termination.
Knowledge of setup and configuration of wireless microphones and frequency band plans.
Knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), FTP apps, Adobe Audition or other basic editing programs.
Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Visio or other CAD applications.
