Director, Program Management - FT Temp

The Director, Program Management will manage critical and multiple interrelated projects to achieve business goals. Achieve program goals by proactively developing and executing end-to-end project management activities. Effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders aligning priorities and direction, defining the scope of work requested and managing expectations.
Demonstrate creativity and flexibility when creating and driving project plans and estimates, scope and requirements from implementation to deployment. Exercise good judgment when issues arise or things don't go as planned and recommend alternative ideas and solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop program and project plans for all areas of the business (engineering, product, marketing, operations, legal, finance teams etc.) in collaboration with department leads.
Identify deliverables and critical program dependencies, track progress, cascade updates and changes to the organization.
Coordinate across different teams at different locations to clearly understand and convey the work plan, ensuring smooth project deliveries and managing expectations appropriately.
Ensure all deliverables are clearly specified, scoped and agreed between stakeholders.
Establish a governance process.
Coordinate approvals for new projects, project gate reviews, contingency plans and scope changes, as part of the established governance process.
Publish actions minutes from meetings, track open action items and produce weekly program/project status reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
7+ years in program management, with expertise in Agile required.
At least 5 years working in project management with at least 3 years in leadership positions at a Manager level or higher.
Shown ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Prior experience of working with senior leadership.

Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills.
Strong collaborator and able to learn quickly.
Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in-person.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Disciplined in organizational skills.
Domestic travel up to 25% maybe required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while keeping in mind the big picture, and paying close attention to details.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access).
