The Senior Product Manager, Data will drive the vision, direction, roadmap and product deliverables for Automatic's data offering. S/he will be macro and micro trend savvy, have a level of mastery with data analytics, product management, and have the ability to get to the root of an ask. This massively cross functional role straddles both enterprise and consumer products with the aim to create platform component requirements and drive the evolution of the offering within larger architecture, product design, and planning processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Iterate quickly with Design and Engineering to get to MVP and beyond.
Create and maintain a vertical of the product roadmap.
Define and drive platform related product deliverables.
Gather requirements from stakeholders and create user stories with acceptance criteria that can be leveraged by Dev and QA teams.
Develop a prioritized product backlog using both quantitative feedback from reporting tools (Superset, Google Analytics) and qualitative feedback (User Research).
Own the full product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities to ensure on-time product delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in Product Management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Data related offerings.
Possess deep technical chops. Collaboration with Engineering is critical.
Have an eye for great design. Recognizing beautiful design leads to building gorgeous products.
Experience with mobile hardware + software required.
Agile training and experience preferred.
Requirements and General Skills:
Technical and analytic curiosity is a must.
Prior work experience as a developer is required.
Ability to utilize and interpret data to drive and support product decisions.
Skilled and effective communication is a must.
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to take initiative and delivery with consistency.
Creative writing ability.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Thorough knowledge of REST APIs, SuperSet, and SQL
Adobe Creative Suite preferred
