Position Summary:

Responsible for developing non-digital touch attribution model and forecasting expected by channel and touch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-touch attribution logic for conversions across direct mail, email and outbound telemarketing touches.

  • Identify tools/model to develop attribution logic.

  • Develop daily forecasting model for expected conversions by touch and channel for each business line based on attribution logic and expected timing of conversions of marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure data is properly stored and structured so that analysis can be performed in a timely and efficient matter.

  • Develop dynamic tools that provide visibility into forecast variance from actuals on a daily basis by business line, by channel and by touch.

  • Segment data to facilitate understanding of which customers are responding to which touches and proactively analyze data to determine what those segments should be and how to incorporate into forecasting to enhance accuracy.

  • Responsible for providing 3-6 month outlook on expected cohort performance and reconcile daily conversions forecast with expected cohort performance.

  • Outlook updated bi-weekly.

  • Provide explanation (and quantify) of outlook changes from prior view & from budget by:

  • Cohort specific variables, e.g. vehicle mix, demographic changes etc.

  • Data issues, e.g. delay in starting trials etc.

  • Marketing strategy changes e.g. offer strategy changes, etc.

  • Other causes.

  • Maintain repository of marketing initiatives and operational changes and calculate expected impact on future conversions.

  • Lead ad-hoc analysis of trial population to help identify opportunities for improvement.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, data analytics, modeling, mathematics, computer science or other quantitative fieldscience or equivalent, relevant experience. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing analytics or modeling and prior experience with developing attribution logic.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of statistical packages (such as R, SAS).

  • Knowledge of SQL.

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
