Location: Washington, D.C.

Position Summary:

Front end senior developer with strong HTML/CSS and javascript skills as well as experience with A/B testing and data analysis.

We are seeking an individual who not only has development expertise, but also familiarity with customer segmentation, an ability to build related test reports on key KPIs, and an ability to analyze and articulate results to internal team members and key stakeholders. Our developers work closely with other members of the optimization team and are directly responsible for end to end launch and execution of tests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy site tests and optimization campaigns using the latest front-end web technologies.

  • Follow industry best practices and company conventions to create maintainable site code.

  • Work closely with our design and user experience teams to build brand and UX compliant tests.

  • Perform reporting and analysis of tests based on an in-depth understanding of major site conversion funnels.

  • Build responsive prototypes in collaboration with design and product teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct reports but will cross-train team members on development tasks related to testing and optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.

  • 3-6 years of experience writing HTML/CSS and responsive site builds.

  • Experience leading or managing a front-end development team preferred. 


  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S. 


Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Experience building responsive web sites with HTML/CSS/JS.

  • Experience with managing HTML code and design and UX standards.

  • Experience with SASS and optimizing HTML/CSS and site performance.

  • Experienced with rapid prototyping.

  • Experience with HTML5, Boilerplate, CSS3, SCSS, Less.js, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Node.js, AJAX, REST, JSON, and XML.

  • Familiarity with code versioning systems (SVN, GIT).

  • Expert ability to convert designs into fully responsive web pages.

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics (Site Catalyst) preferred. 


  • Experience with HTML-based animation using HTML5 Canvas or Javascript/CSS preferred.


  • Experience working with Oracle Web Center Sites preferred.
